ABOUT THE FARM

Our plants are born and raised outside with all nature has to throw at them. Plants raised in greenhouses or warmer environments are not acclimatized to our winters which makes them vulnerable to winter kill. They are often sold as seedlings/small plugs that can take years to mature and bloom. We sell divisions of mature plants that are winter hardy, will grow at a noticeable rate, and will bloom their first year with you.
Plants are dug up and potted in
May once the snow is off the
ground. They are then cared for
and observed for a couple of
weeks to the ensure quality of
every plant. Plants can be
reserved in advance or simply
bought on site when open.
